G-pa & Gigiprof

G-pa & Gigiprof

I see the subject is "books." The professor never met a book she did not like, new, used or otherwise providing it was not anything to do with fiction. Her filing system is helter-skelter; if there is space to insert it, that is where it goes. Yes, there are some that have never been seen again. Of course, this excludes my train books. My preference is railroad history (with a lot of pictures) and I never met a MAGAZINE I did not like.

GPa

In defense of me, my filing system is "random." Sounds much better, don't you think? Enough on books.

What are we doing up at this hour, you ask?

What are two old folks doing up at this hour. WE aren't. I am. Couldn't sleep and decided to conquer this blogger password problem we have been having once and for all. I do my best work between midnight and 5 a.m. So I think I got it! This is a test! Grandpa will be glad to know when he wakes up that we can now rejoin the blogosphere for about the third or fourth time. We were getting to the point where we were going to have to call a grandchild to teach us. That still may occur when we get ready to send pictures. There is no reason this should be so difficult for two perfectly normal people.

Bye for now. See you when Grandpa wakes up in the morning.

BACK AGAIN

Welcome to our annual post. It seems like we neglect this a lot. Either we don't have much excitement to talk about or we forget it before we remember to write the blog. Maybe if we can ever get it to work the same way twice, we will do it more often.

Our current news is there is no news and that is good news! One significant event: Art gave up Martinis and Mary gave up chocolate for Lent (only after a chocolate valentine party that made us not want to see chocolate ever again). Big mistake! The chocolate "burnout" only lasted six hours and the Lent commitment is still going on. So far we have both kept our commitment in spite of severe temptation. After all this is a covenant with God.

Our next big step in blogosphere will be learning how to put pictures on this blog. No, our next big step will be learning how to use our camera so we will have some pictures to put on the blog. This staying young in an aging world is tough!

More Later!
