Good Morning

Our prayer this morning (borrowed from Grandma Fairy).

This is one of those mornings that we quoted her favorite little prayer.
"Good Morning, Lord. You have already given us blessings this day!"

A wonderful family and lots of wonderful friends. The sun is shining in a beautiful Oklahoma sky. Art's cold is better so Mary is in a good mood (especially since she had some shopping therapy yesterday - new boots).

Looking forward to a great weekend with OSU over Texas by 3. OU over A&M. Elizabeth's play. Family dinner and whatever else great things come along. Oh, yes, shop for a new tea kettle (Don't ask!)

And by the way, it is Steve's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, STEVE!

WE'RE BACK! So it has been a year! Get over it!

When you get to be the oldest generation, you are a bit slow at times...maybe not mentally but physically. But we get there!

Between tailgating (with a dancing 24" Pistol Pete doll and about 30 crazy people), happy hours with an occasional martini (notice that is singular) and a few verses of the infamous leprosy song, Sunday night family dinners, friends night out (when the birthday person picks the restaurant of the month), and frequent visits from OSU grad students, we have some difficulty spending time figuring out how to work our blog. Be patient it may take us another year to figure out how to put a picture in! But here goes!

Currently, our days are filled with trips to the vet with O.C. (and only slight improvement), and today GPa has the mother of all colds. Yesterday, however, was a better day. We got to see the future Pistol Pete (Theo) all decked out in his Cowboy outfit for Halloween which brought back memories of punkin costumes of years gone by. What happy days!

We are so surprised we got back on the blog that we really haven't figured out what a good rant would be but will work on that too. I am sure we can come up with something.
